VirtuaPin™ Digital Plunger Kit V4 packs an impressive number of features into a conveniently
small footprint.
Created around the ESP32-S2 microcontroller, the V4 plunger utilizes the 230mhz clock
speeds available to it to ensure that it is truly a zero delay interface. The modular design of the
mainboard not only future proofs the system but makes potential upgrade paths a matter of
simply replacing the control module.
Features:
- Software selection and on the fly serial switching between 32 button inputs and 24 button
input combined with 2x 8 way hat switches
- 16 bit plunger movement reporting using either the included IR sensor or an optional/DIY
potentiometer sensor
- 16 bit X/Y axis reported nudging with independently controlled sensitivity selection and
gain amplification
- Built in TILT algorithm replaces mechanical tilt-bob signal driven events with independently
controlled tilt threshold levels
- Boot mode Gamepad/Keyboard selection as well as on the fly serial controlled mode
switching
- LED plunger movement indicator strip that acts as a visual movement gauge with
configurable brightness controlled
- Trackball/Spinner input (currently in development and testing)
- 64 output control through optional expansion board (currently in development and testing)
